Hello, friends! I decided to have you guys ask me some questions on Instagram in order to make this Q&A blog post so you all can get to know me more. With that being said, I'd love to get to know you better as well! Feel free to comment down below your own answers to the questions or anything else you'd want to share.
Sooooo... without further ado,
let's answer some questions!
Q #1. What Kept You Busy During Quarantine ?
During quarantine I definitely picked up some new hobbies to keep myself sane. I would say the main things I've been doing are exercising and reading! Before the pandemic, I would definitely have not classified myself as a "book worm" but now I think it's safe to say that I definitely am one! Seriously, in about a 2 month time span I have breezed through about 10 Nicolas Sparks books so far and my goal is to read all of his books by the end of summer (be on the lookout for a book review blog post soon!).
Q #2. Favorite Things To Do In St. Louis?
I was born and raised in St. Louis, so I definitely have some favorite things I like to do around the city. One of my very favorite activities to do is go to Cardinals games! Just the whole baseball vibe of Busch Stadium brings me so much happiness. Other things I often find myself doing is finding new coffee shops and brunch places to eat at. I just love the pride everyone has for our city which is one of the main reasons I enjoy living in St. Louis so much!
Q #3. Three Places You Want To Travel
If you know me, you know how much I love the beach! So, most likely the places I list down below will have a beach...
*Turks & Caicos
Q #4. Who Inspires You Most?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, my biggest inspiration is hands down my beautiful Mom, Erika Crain. She is the sweetest and most kind-hearted woman you'd ever meet. She is not only a Mom to my sister and me but also a Mom to all the patients she treats at her hospital. I truly can't imagine growing up without her. She is my best friend and my inspiration.
Q #5. Where Do You Shop?
When I go shopping, I usually visit the local boutiques in my area. I just love wearing clothes that are different and fit my own style and not everyone has them. I have to say, if you live or are visiting the STL area, my all-time favorite clothing store is MOD boutique! I love how their clothes are so trendy and unique. So, if you're looking for a place to buy cute clothes, shoes, and accessories, MOD is definitely the place!
Q #6. What's Your Favorite Part Of Your Day?
During quarantine, I definitely feel like I developed an everyday routine which made me realize that my favorite part of the day is the early morning. Those of you who know me probably know I'm 100% an "early bird." I love being productive in the morning by exercising and doing a mindful yoga flow. I just like starting off the day on the right foot by being eating breakfast with my family or just even peacefully reading outside on the deck with them in the mornings.
Q #7. What Is Your Favorite Place To Go In The Summer?
My favorite place in the summer is definitely anywhere outside. Whether it's a pool, beach, or sitting outside with friends on a brunch date, I absolutely love it all! I also enjoy going on drives with my friends and jamming out to our favorite songs.
Q #8. How Do You Maintain A Positive Outlook?
People often ask me how I maintain positivity throughout life, and honestly, to me, I just have the mindset that everything will work out. I think about the things that make me the happiest in life. Also, a saying that really helps me stay positive is: "sometimes things have to fall apart in order to fall into place."
Q #9. Why Did I Decide To Start A Blog?
I get asked this very question soo much. Believe it or not, I had the idea of starting a blog about a year and a half ago, but I never actually published one. While in quarantine I wanted to do something a little productive, so I decided to pursue my dream, work hard and here I am! I also wanted to make this blog as a source of inspiration for everyone to follow and encourage others to pursue their own unique style. I also wanted a way to express myself freely and show ya'll who I am!
